The Japanese Language
Recognized as one of the most fast-paced languages in the world, Japanese is spoken by 130 million people. It is the national language for Japan, and the 9th most commonly spoken language in the world. Though it is a common belief that the Japanese language is not related to any other language; it borrows words from English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Dutch, and it’s written form is rooted in Chinese. Outside of Japan, 5 million Japanese speakers also reside in Argentina, Australia, the United States, Peru, and the Philippines.
